Hotel Features.<br /> <em>Complimentary wireless Internet access</em> is available throughout the Pod Hotel New York. The lobby, with colorful murals and mod decor, is the setting for <em>complimentary social hours Fridays and Saturdays</em>. <em>Two independently owned French bistros</em>, Montparnasse and Le Bateau Ivre, flank the Pod's entrance. The hotel is <em>100-percent non-smoking</em>.

Compact, cleverly designed guestrooms feature <em>custom bedding, iPod docking stations</em>, and small <em>LCD TVs. Built-in furnishings</em> maximize use of space. Rooms have <em>shared or private baths</em>. In-room displays indicate availability of multiple shared bathrooms. The shared bathrooms feature <em>rainfall showerheads, water jets</em> built into the sides, and <em>streaming music</em>. Private bathrooms also have <em>rainfall showerheads (no jets)</em>, along with sleek stainless-steel sinks.
